Welcome to the MDS Blog Carnival!!

It's finally time for the My Digital Studio Blog Carnival! There are a bunch of amazing bloggers who are participating, and you can see them all by clicking on the logo above. Clicking the logo at the top takes you to a post on the Stampin' Addicts website where you can find all of the links to the participating blogs. If you haven't visited the Stampin' Addicts site before, be sure to take a few minutes and look around while you're there. It's a wonderful site full of terrific ideas and there's even a gallery full of amazing ideas where you can find tons of wonderful inspiration.

I'm so excited to share with you a few more fun projects created with My Digital Studio. It's such a terrific paper crafting program, so let me get started by showing you a few things I've created.

This is the first page I created with My Digital Studio. Some of the touches I was able to add were the ribbon with staples, the journaling around the photo and the stitching. My Digital Studio includes these fun options and so many more.

This next page is the cover page for an album that includes pictures from my niece's 1st birthday party.

This page is very similar to the page I showed you yesterday of Jordan and Samantha. I love the look of using one of the photos for the background of the page, and the picture of her first cupcake was perfect for this type of page.

She is so adorable, and I love the stink-eye look she gives. You can see that in the picture in the top right corner. It cracks me up every time!

This last page documents a memory I just had to preserve. Amelia wanted to share her cupcake with my son Jordan. But when she held out her hand to give him a bit he accidentally bit her finger. They were both in tears for a while, but we were finally able to get them both calmed down. It's something we will all laugh about for a long time.

I appreciate you all stopping by. Be sure to leave me a comment. I'd love to hear what you think about My Digital Studio. And don't forget you can get your hands on your very own copy for 50% off by hosting a qualifying party in October or November!!

My Digital Studio with Friends

My girlfriend, Carrie came over today to play and craft and we put together this darling page of our kids, who are in love. Yes, they're only 4 (yes, FOUR) but they're planning their wedding and future together. It's so funny, but they sure are darling together, and Carrie and I are looking forward to spending holidays together after they're married.

I love making pages with a photo as the background, and this picture was perfect for that technique because it was a little out of focus. My Digital Studio uses all of the fonts on your computer, so I found this super fun font called Birth of a Hero. I love that it's a little grungy. We used the bird stamp from the Always stamp set and added a cute little heart. I have a bunch of cute pages to share with you during the My Digital Studio Blog Carnival which starts tomorrow. Be sure to stop back by to see more digital scrapbook pages.

This is REALLY the last one

I forgot that I had mentioned before that I'd made another card with the ornament background. On this card I used the ornament and stamped it in white craft ink onto Kraft card stock to create a beautiful and delicate background. This was another fun idea for using these little ornament stamps for an occasion other than Christmas. For the sentiment, I inked it up in a combination of Sahara Sand and Creamy Caramel to try to get a match to the Kraft card stock color. I stamped the sentiment and the dotted circle onto a metal-edge tag and mounted those onto a vellum scalloped circle. This makes a beautiful but simple wedding card. I promise this is really the last of the Convention Display samples. Thanks so much to all of you who stopped by to see them and took the time to leave comments!!! I'll try to keep the craftiness coming, so be sure to stick around!
